Bring on 2012

2011 was our best year ever - I'm not sure there's any way to top it. Welcoming Ben & Jack into our lives was the best thing that's ever happened to me. What a year!

We celebrated NYE with (Godfather) Luke & Sami. What amazing friends they are to come over for the night for a late dinner after the boys went to sleep and a low-key celebration. Jonathan grilled steaks and we had Sami's amazing salad with some sides, and then yummy fondue with Sami's amazing desserts! Jonathan attempted to "sign me up" for cooking lessons with Sami. I'd be offended if she wasn't almost a professional in the kitchen. :)

The boys went wild over the balloons and noise-makers. Earlier in the afternoon Ben was laughing at the blowout noisemaker - see it in the video link below.

Today we went to brunch, where adventurous Ben had part of a biscuit, pancake, & eggs! Jack said "No" to breakfast. He's not ready, but Ben continued his solid food streak with dinner at Honey & Papa's, where he tried a little bread, lasagna, and black-eyed peas! He loved the peas! Jack sort of had a half of a pea, but wasn't quite into what we were eating. The boys had a great NYE and NY day with a lot of the people they love best. Bring on 2012!
