Last weekend was busy. Poppy & Gigi came up on Friday to help Aunt La move to Dallas. She is staying at Casa de Solomon for a few weeks until she finds a good place to live in Dallas, where she is starting her new job after graduating! We are all excited. So Saturday since everyone was in town, Poppy & Daddy put together Ben & Jack's Pirate Sandship. It may just be a "sandbox," but it's the cutest sandbox I've ever seen, and I was so excited to see it put together. It took them a while, and Ben & Jack relaxed in their lawn chairs, then had a picnic lunch while they watched some of the activity.
They were a little hesitant at first. Jack, especially, was a little unsure of this. He was sitting on the edge and picking up his feet, looking at us! But once we gave them some spoons to stir things up, they really got into it. We've used it three days in a row - the sandship is a hit!
