Last weekend, Aunt La graduated from UT in Austin. We went down Friday night and went to dinner with the girl of the hour at our favorite pizza place of all time, Home Slice Pizza. We rented a house for the weekend, and although I had to mop the floors to make sure it was clean for my crawlers, it was nice. Here's how good these baby boys are - even though we'd had a long car ride and went out to dinner with a lot of stimulation and were in a new place, they went right down for bedtime without a peep. Agh, they're just so good!

Saturday we went to breakfast with the whole fam at Kerby Lane and then popped by Lauren's apartment before heading to her first graduation ceremony. The boys did really well, considering they had just a twenty minute nap in the car on the way. Ben was awesome, he just ate his snacks during the ceremony and eventually fell asleep on Auntin Erin's shoulder. Jack, on the other hand, decided that he had enough of graduation, and after we saw Aunt La walk across the stage, he and I waited in the hall. Ohhh, Jack.

In between ceremonies, we had a little Thundercloud sub (the boys love turkey), and rested for a bit at the house. Tia Katie, Uncle Guy, & Great-Aunt Andi came over late that afternoon to babysit for us so we could go to the big graduation ceremony. Ben & Jack were happy to see them and showed off their walking skills and stacked their toys for everyone to see. We're so fortunate to have had family ready and willing to watch the boys for us!

Saturday night we went to the big graduation, and Robert Gates was a phenomenal speaker. At the end of the ceremony, just after the fireworks, Lauren was proposed to by Kris. She was very excited and surprised, and we were all very happy for her. What a night!
Sunday we took the boys down to Barton Springs to see the water and put their feet in - they were very upset that we had to leave, so we promised to go back. It was a fun walk, though, and then we had lunch with everyone at Abel's on the Lake before leaving town. It was a great weekend, and the boys did really well with all the activity.
