3rd Birthday!

Ben & Jack's 3rd birthday was pretty fun. For starters, J surprised them by being home when they woke up - he had been at his parents' during the radioactive iodine pill recovery week. They woke up to balloons & streamers & balloons on their chairs. They were so excited and it was so much fun.

Their birthday party was at the Little Gym this year, which they loved! It was great having so much family and so many of their little friends there to join in the fun. They especially loved their choo-choo train cake and opening presents. They had so many that we opened them over a period of several days!

This year we started the Birthday Interview. I also did a video, but it was kind of rough getting them to stay still and not be so silly (!), so maybe written is better for now!

*As sweet as this answer is, and as much as I'd like to just run with that, I'm pretty sure that if daddy were asking these Qs, it would be his name up there :)

Lord, thank you for these precious boys and all the fun times we get to share with them. I am so thankful for their inquisitive little minds, their funny senses of humor, and for their sweet, happy natures. They bring us so much joy and we are so thankful that You have entrusted us with the tremendous gift of raising them. Help us to bring them up to know and follow Your word, Lord, and surround them with adults and friends who will point them toward You. I also ask that you help us to make it through the "threes" in one piece! Give me patience, above all, and help me to remember that they are precious children, and messes are okay! Help me to teach them obedience and to show them only love.  Bless these boys and please keep them healthy and safe!
